Annabel Bear lives with her parents in a large house with a spacious, unkempt garden. Her father looks after about twenty bee hives and has made it his living. He never takes much care of the rest of the garden; it is one massive area of weeds. Annabel is a bear that will not be told. Her parents moan about her all the time. Nobody believes her wild story about a queen and think she has made it up. She has a friend called Amy; her best friend so she thinks. However, a part in the story shows she is not. Then a squirrel called Cecil enters the arena. He is a dandy and always fussing about his appearance. However, they all take a back seat when Toby comes on the scene. He is a very talented bear. Annabel is all eyes for this gorgeous creature. Robert Jennings-McCormick, Books, Annabel and Amy Bear also Other Tales Books <
